How to Check if You Are Enrolled in a Course

This guide is for ISMMS students who has registered but are having issues seeing their courses in Blackboard.

Courses that have not yet been made available to students will appear on your Courses tab with a lock symbol and will be labeled as Private.

Did you already register for your courses in Empower? https://student.mssm.edu/
If you already signed up for your course(s), please wait 24 hours for them to appear in Blackboard.
Once you wait 24 hours, you can check the status of your course by logging in here: https://learn.mssm.edu/ , select Tools, and then click on Course Registration Self-Check.
If the tool says "Course Availability: No," that means your course director did not yet make the course available to students, so this course will be hidden from you.
If it's been more than 24 hours and you still don't see your courses in Blackboard or in the tool, you can contact the registrar to ask for help by sending email to registrar@mssm.edu . (For registered students at ISMMS only)
