Important Things to Keep in Mind When Using Images
If you need to include pictures/images in your test, it is best to paste them directly into the document.
Make sure the image format is either JPG, GIF or PNG. Any other format may not reproduce well in most browsers.
Do not reduce the size of the image to make it fit in the Word document otherwise it will appear too small in Blackboard.
The image MUST appear AFTER the question number and BEFORE the answer choices.
The Image MUST be part of the question wording.
Whenever possible, it is best that the image appear immediately at the beginning of the question (it will be easier to update in Blackboard if there is a problem with the image).
If the image is not the first item in the question, please consider rewording the question so that the image can appear first.
Keep all images LEFT JUSTIFIED.
If you are using the same image for several questions, it is best to repeat the image for each question as it will give you the flexibility to offer the exam one question at a time.Â
