How to Accept Late Exam Submission (Yellow Exclamation Mark)
Let's say a student has 2 hours on their exam. They start the exam at 6:00AM but the deadline for the exam is 7:00AM. They still have 1 more hour they can go passed the deadline. Going passed the deadline is considered a "late" submission and the student's grade result will show up as a yellow exclamation point.
Go to the course and click Grade Center
Select Full Grade Center
Find the exam column and then find the students submission.
Click the arrowed chevron next to the yellow exclamation.
Select the students latest Attempt
At the bottom of the page select Save and Exit.
If there are other students who have yellow exclamation marks, alternately you can select Save and Next.
That's it, now the yellow exclamation mark should be gone and you will be able to see the numerical grade appear.
