How to Add Multiple Users to Your Course or Organization
Enroll Multiple Users
To enroll more then one user at a time, you need to have a list of usernames. Preferably you can have them in one column in Excel.
First I would like to show you where the enrollments occur.
Go to your Course or Organization
Click Users & Groups
Select Users
Click Find Users to Enroll
The empty username box is where you can paste a series of usernames, separated by commas.
Here's an Example:
Once you have everyone you can click Submit.
Dealing with a Large List in Excel
If you have a large list, it would take a long time to add a comma between every username. You can do this quickly in Excel.
First Make sure you have one column filled with usernames in Excel going vertically.
Choose an empty column nearby
Double click on the empty space
Type in =
Click on the first username
Type in &
Type “,”
Click Enter
Drag the column down from the corner to apply it to the rest of the accounts.
NOTE: Make sure to get rid of the last comma , since this will confuse Blackboard
Follow the steps at the top of the guide labeled "Enroll Multiple Users" to reach the area where you can copy and paste all the usernames from your Excel sheet and into your Blackboard course or organization.
