How to Grade, Annotate, and Provide Feedback to Submitted Assignments
You can start grading submitted assignments on the Needs Grading page or in the Grade Center. On the Grade Assignment page, you can view, comment on, and grade student-submitted assignment files.
Go to your course and find the Control Panel in the bottom left corner
Expand Grade Center
Select Needs Grading or Full Grade Center
You can then annotate and grade student assignment files directly within the browser with Bb Annotate.
Locate the column for the Assignment
Click the chevron on the cell,
Select the submitted assignment. The format should look similar to "Attempt xx/xx/xx".
*The YELLOW EXCLAMATION POINT icon means that the assignment Needs Grading.
*The double dash icon means that the student has not submitted the assignment yet.
Annotation
You can use Bb Annotate for inline grading in your courses. Bb Annotate offers a more robust feature set to provide customizable feedback to students. Features include a sidebar summary view, freehand drawing tools, various color selections, and more.
Explore the Annotate tool bar to add comment directly onto the submission.
Feedback & Grading
Alternatively, you can utilize the Feedback to Learner area to provide your comments. Simply expand the blue bar arrow on the right panel of the Grade Assignment window.
Under Attempt, enter the Grade
Click Submit once you have completed the grading.
Note: A grade must be entered to Submit.
